The 2015 Subaru WRX has an all new, horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine that's turbocharged and intercooled. The aluminum, direct-injected "boxer" makes 268 horsepower (at 5,600 rpm) and 258 lbs-feet of torque from 2,000 -- 4,000 rpm. The 2015 Subaru WRX gets a new six-speed manual transmission comes standard while a "Sport Lineartronic™" continuously variable transmission (CVT) comes optional. It features SI-DRIVE performance management with six-speed and eight-speed manual shifting modes and steering wheel paddle shifters. The exterior is nearly all new. The only exterior components shared with the Impreza are the roof panel and deck-lid. Subaru is offering the 2015 Subaru WRX as a sedan only.

UNVEILING THE NEW MERCEDES C CLASS 2014 / 2014 Mercedes-Benz C Class

The new C-Class 2014 ( 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class ) will be the most efficient, refined and dynamic model in its class.

Codenamed W205, the latest 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class sits on the new modular rear-drive chassis architecture (MRA) that will underpin every large Mercedes for the next five years. This has the capacity for hybrid and electric power, four-wheel drive and a wide range of different vehicle shapes and sizes all built into its structural DNA.

The key to the new chassis is its light weight ( 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class ), and this theme continues throughout the car -- 50 per cent of the body is now made from aluminium, so even though the new C-Class is 95mm longer and 40mm wider than before, it's up to 100kg lighter. The new A-Class was a game-changer for us, but it's a Marmite car. People seem to love it or hate it," he said. "The C-Class is a three-box saloon, one of the industry's oldest shapes, so of course it has to be more traditional."

The new C220 BlueTEC diesel has a drag coefficient of 0.24Cd -- better than most coupés -- and when combined with the lighter body, Mercedes claims to have cut fuel consumption by 20 per cent. This means the 168bhp saloon, which can cover 0-62mph in 8.1 seconds, also emits 103g/km of CO2 -- easily beating BMW's most frugal 320d EfficientDynamics (which emits 109g/km).

Joining the C220 at launch will be C180 and C200 petrol models. The C180 uses a 154bhp 1.6-litre engine that emits just 116g/km of CO2, while the C200 features a 184bhp 2.0-litre, does 0-62mph in 7.5 seconds but still emits less CO2 than a VW Golf 1.4 TSI.

Every engine uses a turbocharger to reduce capacity, emissions and fuel consumption while maintaining excellent performance with class-leading CO2 emissions - from only 99g/km. Efficiency is further enhanced by an extensive mass reduction programme, resulting in 40kg weight loss on some models despite the extensive addition of new equipment.

While front-wheel-drive variants will account for the majority of sales in most markets, four-wheeldrive ALL-MODE 4x4-i versions will also be available to match a choice of six-speed manual or allnew Xtronic transmissions.

Inside, a dramatic rise in material and design quality adds significant interior appeal to the Qashqai package. Versatility also remains a core crossover attribute; Nissan's engineers have devised innovative ways to make the new Qashqai fit into drivers' lives. Delivering greater occupant space and a larger luggage capacity enhanced by a variable floor system, the new Qashqai even offers space to store the parcel shelf when not in use.

The new Qashqai is based on the new CMF (Common Module Family) Renault-Nissan Alliance platform, bringing outstanding engineering efficiencies to the consumer.

Designed and engineered in Europe, for Europe, the new Qashqai has been created by Nissan's experts at Nissan Design Europe (London, UK) and Nissan Technical Centre Europe (Cranfield, UK and Barcelona, Spain), and it will be built in Sunderland, UK. Extensive input has also come from Nissan's designers and engineers in Atsugi, Japan.
